Angelina Jolie Praises Daughters Zahara And Shiloh For Their Bravery After Undergoing Surgery
Angelina Jolie wrote an essay for TIME magazine and in it, the actress opened up about some health problems two of her children went through without the public being aware. That being said, it turns out that Zahara and Shiloh even underwent surgery to get better and the proud mother just had to praise them for the ‘bravery’ they showed.
The essay that she shared with the world was in order to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8 so the topic of her brave daughters was perfect to mark the occasion!
The Hollywood star wrote that ‘I have spent the last two months in and out of surgeries with my eldest daughter, [Zahara], and days ago watched her younger sister go under the knife for a hip surgery. They know that I’m writing this, because I respect their privacy – we discussed it together and they encouraged me to write it. They understand that going through such medical challenges and fighting to survive and to heal is something to be proud of.’
In the essay, Jolie did not mention which of Zahara’s younger sisters were also hospitalized.
However, the answer came a day after the essay was published when 13 year old Shiloh Jolie-Pitt was caught on camera by the paparazzi walking on crutches.
In the TIME article, Angie goes on to share that ‘I have watched my daughters care for one another. My youngest daughter, [Vivienne], studied all the nurses with her sister, and assisted the next time. I saw how all of my girls so easily stopped everything and put one another first, and felt the joy of being of service to those that they love.’

The mother of six could not help but gush over them and their ‘resolute bravery,’ saying that since they are already taking care of others so well and at such a young age, they are bound to be amazing women one day – women who will ‘give, and care for and sacrifice.’
